Usually you don’t show off concept design but we had to show this one off. The background image used was pieced together using Google Maps and then converted to hi-resolution images that are ready for print. As an advertising piece targeted for tourist, showing a map of the area we thought would be a great way to teach people about the amazing sites they could see on the Back Bay Tours.

Well we are finally getting back to RgDesign… why were we away? Well… we have been working a few projects that have taken most of our time since we moved to Waxahachine, TX. Snorkels Fish & Corals has been a huge amount of our time! This project has been a lot of fun as we got to develop a fully customized website from the ground up. Its been a while since we got to develop a custom site as most of our clients are looking for WordPress or content managed website.
Now it’s time to focus in on the market here in Waxahachie. We can’t wait to help out our new community of fellow small business owners. The Knowledge Graph is Google’s system for organizing information about millions of well-known “entities”: people, places, and organizations in the real world. Google’s algorithms merge information about entities from many data sources. For some types of information, though, the best source of data is the entity itself. We came across a great article this morning explaining commercial themes. What are commercial themes? Themes are websites that have been coded and designed for you. Really the only thing you have to do is fill the site with your companies content. This article by Small Biz Trends quickly explains some advantages and disadvantages to building your site this way.
